We love seeing clients succeed here at Threshold! We were so excited to learn that two of our clients, Hatchify and Brandefy have both been accepted to national accelerator programs. In the startup world, that’s big news for growth and development!

How we helped

We helped the founders and their teams prepare for next-level startup acceleration by converting their existing LLCs to Delaware corporations, set their cap tables and contributor vesting plans, protect their trademarks and other critical intellectual property, prepare for investment, and meet these national accelerator programs’ other due diligence and documentation requirements.

About Hatchify

Hatchify is an automated sales tool designed to help salespeople get more leads. The app helps identify and reach out to prospective customers, create the right verbiage, and then close the deal. They were accepted to Y Combinator, a premier national accelerator that has funded over 1,900 startups since 2005.

Hatchify will be moving to Silicon Valley for an intense three-month acceleration program where their business and pitch to investors will be refined. At the end of three months, they will present to a carefully selected, invite-only audience at the Y Combinator Demo Day.

Dropbox, airbnb, and Weebly are among a number of multi-million dollar companies who have come through the Y Combinator program.

About Brandefy

Brandefy is an app that helps shoppers find generic versions of their favorite brands. Users scan their favorite products into the app to find a generic counterpart with similar scores. The products are scored on ingredient match and community feedback to things like flavor, smell, and texture.

Brandefy was part of the recently concluded Lighthouse Labs 2018 program – a Richmond based accelerator. Brandefy was accepted into the Brandery program, a nationally-ranked accelerator based in Cincinnati. Startups who go through this program are paired with world-class creative agencies and elite mentors. They are also given access to some of the biggest companies in the world, including Procter & Gamble and Kroger. The 16-week accelerator program only accepts five companies a year. Each company is given $100K, a year of free office space, and over $200K in additional benefits.

We are proud to work with innovative and inspirational companies every day.  Helping founders build solid companies that are ready for revenue and outside investment is our thing here at Threshold.
